What an inspiring meeting with the Board of AIADC! This practice group of 120 (and growing!) is among the most committed and enthusiastic I’ve had the opportunity to meet. The group has invested heavily in training and it shows. In depth trainings are held on a regular basis. On-going learning is a part of all monthly practice group meetings. The need to continually develop skills and deepen a shared understanding of Collaborative Practice is a value shared by all members of this group. As with other communities in Europe, language could present some challenges. However, AIADC has translated documents themselves, enlisted professional interpreters for trainings and is clearly determined not to let a little language challenge stand in the way. I am told that many members of the group are now taking English lessons so that they can attend the Forum and the IACP Institute and take full advantage of all that our global movement has to offer. WOW! Check out their video on the video page here.
